Haitian Earthquake Relief Effort
Donations are being accepted by First Presbyterian Church in support of the Haitian Earthquake Relief effort. Make your checks payable to First Presbyterian Church with a designation of “Haiti Earthquake Relief” on the memo line. All funds collected will be sent to our Presbyterian partner organizations, Medical Benevolence Foundation (MBF) and The Outreach Foundation (TOF). MBF works in Leogane, Haiti, with Hôpital Sainte Croix (Holy Cross Hospital), a major focus of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) mission in Haiti for decades. TOF partners closely with Haiti Outreach Ministries, an agency based in Port-au-Prince working with people in several of the poorest districts: Cite Soleil, Blanchard, Repatriote and nearby Ibo Beach. Through its congregations, primary schools, feeding programs and clinics, Haiti Outreach Ministries shares God’s love in word and deed.
