Mission Statement:
To encourage women in their walk with Christ through study of the Word, prayer, fellowship with one another, service to the church and the community and support of the mission of the church worldwide.
Colossians 3:12-14 “Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity” (NIV).

What Can One Expect From Being in A Circle?
Presbyterian Women come together in monthly small groups known as circles. Circles emphasize Bible Study, Service to the Community and Fellowship with One Another. Here are the reflections of a few women, and how one of these aspects of Circle has effected them.
Bible Study — “The Circle Bible study has been a good addition for me — based on Bible verses, the studies challenge you to apply these verses to your life. The discussion format allows everyone to share how the Spirit is working these Biblical truths into a variety of situations. Since we are a mixed-age group, there are always wonderful lessons I can learn from the others in the group. We don’t spend our time discussing one author’s opinion or listening to one teacher’s opinion — instead we are listening to each other and how God’s truths are incorporated in our lives.” — Betsy Davies
Service — “I have had some wonderful mission experiences in Presbyterian Women…One that stands out was going with a small group from my circle to First Steps one day and dividing large quantities of snacks into daily amounts for each classroom. I also loved this past Christmas, going with others from my circle to Preston Taylor Ministries and assisting the children in wrapping Christmas gifts for their families. Last year, I was also fortunate to go with a group of PW women to Cuba, having joint meetings and Bible Studies with the women there. That was truly a very special time and memory I shall always cherish. Being a part of PW mission activities has truly enriched my life.” — Dorothy Pace
Fellowship — “I joined a circle three years ago when I was pregnant with my second son. While not life-threatening, there were some complications with the pregnancy that weighed heavily on our family. I had only known these women for a short time, but the prayers and support shown to me by my circle will never be forgotten. Presbyterian Women was, and continues to be, a blessing in my life.” — Kerry Price
Just as these women have enjoyed lasting friendships, opportunities for service and time to grow in God’s word, you too can experience these wonderful opportunities by enrolling in a circle. We’d love to have you join us!
