Kim Rogers, Director of Food Ministry

Kim Rogers joined the FPC staff full-time in 2014 as the Director of Food Ministry. She first became connected to the FPC extended family when she joined the OHS dining services staff in 2003. Since joining the FPC staff, Kim has expanded the church’s Food Ministry by offering her creative cooking and catering skills to both FPC groups as well as to partner groups that host meetings and events on the FPC campus. Kim is even responsible for preparing our communion bread ensuring it is gluten-free so that all may participate in the Lord’s supper. Beginning with the 2019 Oak Hill Day Camp season, Kim and her staff will provide daily meals to campers and camp staff. Plans are underway to additionally offer meals to the church’s Early Preschool program in the near term.

Kim remarks that she enjoys cooking “because it makes people feel good, but above all — it’s easy. Good food makes people happy, and absolutely anyone can do it.”
