Communications Manager Application

First Presbyterian Church is seeking a full-time Communications Manager to join the Communications Ministry. The primary function of this role is to tell the stories of how the congregation lives out the Church’s mission “to know Christ, to make Him known, and to exhibit His love through worship, education and service.” This position supports the communications of First Presbyterian Church by managing the development and production of church-wide print and digital publications, including monthly newsletters, quarterly magazines, weekly email newsletters and the Church website. This position is also responsible for managing the specific communications needs of ministry program areas as we seek to be an outpost of Christ’s kingdom. Qualified candidates should be skilled in creating Gospel-centered content, have 3-5 years of communications experience in writing and editing, have excellent English usage and verbal communication skills, knowledge of content management systems, and be proactive in learning and using technology related to the position.
