Dr. Stuart R. Gordon, Senior Associate Pastor for Christian Formation and Witness

Stuart Gordon is a native North Carolinian. He holds degrees from Davidson College, Union Presbyterian Seminary, and Columbia Theological Seminary. Prior to service in Nashville, Stuart served as Pastor to the John Calvin Presbyterian Church in Florence, South Carolina and the First Presbyterian Church of Carthage, North Carolina. From 2005 to 2017, Stuart was Associate Pastor for Discipleship. In June of 2017, he became Executive Pastor. He is married to the former Anne Bond, a native of Nashville and child of First Presbyterian Church, where they were married in 1996. They have two sons, Drew and Will.

In addition to leadership of the pastoral and program staff, Stuart continues to enjoy teaching the Logos Sunday School class and his lunchtime studies Your Faith at Work.
