Reopening Update and Plans
PHASE 4 – Starting date TBD:
- Participants that require physical support return.
- Continue scheduling to no more than 2 participants per lesson.
- Participants that require 2 side-walkers will only be scheduled for private, 30-minute lessons.
- Participants that require 2 sidewalkers may be scheduled with one other rider for a 40-minute lesson.
- Programming can return to pre-pandemic scheduling and all volunteers/staff can return to normal operations. Continued cleaning and sanitizing protocols will still be in place.

Additional information will be sent to parents/caregivers of qualifying participants before returning to the barn. For those of you that have deposited money before the pandemic, but your participant does not yet qualify to return, then you can either request a refund or make a tax-deductible donation to TEAM-FPC with that deposit. General Riding Program
We have extended our General Riding Program through the year! Riders age 8 and above (including adults) qualify. The days / hours are: Tuesday – Saturday @ 10:00 AM, 12:00 PM, 2:00 PM, 3:30 PM and 5:00 PM.
Our Therapeutic Riding Program has commenced for young adults (age 13 and above) and adults with disabilities, veterans, service members and first responders. Contact TEAM-FPC Executive Director Curt Stacy for more information: cstacy@fpcnashville.org

(Therapeutic Equine Assistance Method):
Our Mission is to enhance the quality of life for individuals with disabilities by serving them through a therapeutic horseback riding program in a caring, Christian atmosphere.

Our Services:
Participants in our recreational therapeutic riding program (Adults 18 and up) learn horsemanship skills in a rider-focused setting with PATH International certified instructors, side walkers and horse leaders. Lessons are designed to meet the rider’s goals in a fun, inclusive setting. Beginners* as well as experienced riders are welcome.
*All interested beginners will undergo an extensive screening and risk-analysis to determine if a therapeutic riding program is a safe and suitable option.
T.E.A.M. Members:
- Participants (Riders) – Every participant is unique and brings their own special quality to the program.
- Volunteers – Special training is provided for our dedicated group of volunteers who come from all walks of life, age brackets and locations in the area to serve in the program.
- Instructors – All instructors must be certified by the Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship International (PATH, Int’l).
- Parents and Caregivers – Open communication between parents/caregivers and instructors is expedited through data collection and semester progress reports.
