Mission of T.E.A.M.
(Therapeutic Equine Assistance Method):

Our Mission is to enhance the quality of life for disabled individuals by serving them through a therapeutic horseback riding program in a caring, Christian atmosphere.

Our Services:

Participants in our recreational therapeutic riding program (Adults 18 and up) learn horsemanship skills in a rider-focused setting with PATH International certified instructors, side walkers and horse leaders. Lessons are designed to meet the rider’s goals in a fun, inclusive setting. Beginners* as well as experienced riders are welcome.

*All interested beginners will undergo an extensive screening and risk-analysis to determine if a therapeutic riding program is a safe and suitable option.

T.E.A.M. Members:

  • Participants (Riders) – Every participant is unique and brings their own special quality to the program.
  • Volunteers – Special training is provided for our dedicated group of volunteers who come from all walks of life, age brackets and locations in the area to serve in the program.
  • Instructors – All instructors must be certified by the Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship International (PATH, Int’l).
  • Parents and Caregivers – Open communication between parents/caregivers and instructors is expedited through data collection and semester progress reports.
