Sunday Morning Services

Easter 2019 Dr Stuart GordonThe heartbeat of First Presbyterian Church’s family is the worship of Almighty God. Worship is our response to what God has done for us in Jesus Christ. The heartbeat of First Presbyterian Church’s family is the worship of Almighty God.

Traditional worship services are celebrated Sundays at 8:30 and 11:00 A.M. in the Sanctuary.

Our pastors engage our minds and hearts with the Word from the pulpit. They are rooted in the Reformed tradition, Biblical in shape and substance and centered in the grace of God revealed in Jesus Christ.

The basic order of our services remains largely the same each week, yet within that familiar framework there is variety and innovation. Presbyterian worship seeks to express something of the majesty and wonder of God, drawing from 2,000 years of rich traditions of Christian worship and liturgy. Our services, through praise, prayer, song, sermon and sacrament (baptism and communion), seek to worship God with the dignity and reverence due to him, and yet to do so with the warmth and joy that Jesus Christ brings to life. We trust that our website will answer any questions you may have, and that you can find a place in the rich and varied worship life of our church family.
