Equine Program Director

Curt Stacy

Curt oversees all aspects of the Therapeutic Equine Assistance Method (TEAM-FPC) horseback riding program in order to maintain Core, Activity, Service and Field Test standards reflecting administration and business, facility management and equine/participant welfare. He can answer questions about any aspects of the horseback riding program such as: lesson availability, program horse knowledge, benefits of a therapeutic horseback riding program in regard to multiple disabilities as well as general horseback riding questions.

Curt obtained his Master of Science in Equine Science in 2014 and his Path International Instructor Certification in 2016. Aside from his equine ventures, he is also a live and studio bass player and vocalist. He enjoys spending free time target shooting, hunting and fishing at the family farm. Previous to his position here at the church, he was a special education high school teacher with Metro Nashville Public schools for 12 years and a special education middle school teacher for 2 years with Hickman County Public schools.
