We’re glad you’re interested in joining us.
Welcome to First Presbyterian Church of Nashville! Founded in 1814, First Presbyterian was born by grace. We are an outpost of the kingdom, called to glorify the Triune God, to make know the crucified and risen Christ, and to advance the gospel of God’s free and redeeming grace. Learn more about what to expect on Sundays.
We worship on Sunday mornings at 8:30 and 11:00 a.m. in the Sanctuary. Learn more about worship here. To livestream the 8:30 a.m. service or view past services, click here.
Liturgical worship services include Scripture reading, preaching, congregational singing, prayers of confession, assurance of pardon, and thanksgiving to God for what he has done for us in Christ Jesus.
Join between services for coffee and doughnuts in Courtenay Hall, located downstairs below the Sanctuary.
The Sunday School hour begins at 9:45 a.m. Some classes are centered around age and life stage, while others focus on topics and vary in form from discussion-based to lecture style. Find more information about Adult, Youth, and Children's Sunday School.
A worship service with the sounds of children is a good thing! Children of all ages are always welcome to worship alongside their church family in the Sanctuary. We also offer options for specific age levels to frame their worship experience in a developmentally appropriate way.
