Pastor and Head of Staff
Ryan Moore was called, by God’s grace, in October 2019 to be the Senior Pastor of First Presbyterian Church Nashville.
Associate Pastor for Congregational Care & Missions
Sandra Randleman has served as the Associate Pastor for Congregational Care and Discipleship since 1999. Her areas of responsibility include congregational care, support groups, and missions.
Parish Associate
John has served First Presbyterian as a parish associate since 2015. He teaches the Good News Sunday School class and is active in the First Friends ministry.
Church Executive
Frank A. Coyle, Esq. is the Church Executive at First Presbyterian Church of Nashville. In this role, he cares for our church’s non-ordained staff, daily operations, and strategic planning.
Clerk of Session
Lonnie Stout is currently an active Elder and serves as Clerk of Session.
The Session is the duly constituted council of First Presbyterian Church, Nashville, Tennessee, consisting of all teaching elders (pastors) and ruling elders in active service. The office of ruling elder and the duties and responsibilities of the Session in a Presbyterian church are patterned on the overseer of the early church. It has ultimate responsibility for all facets of the life of the church, its mission, and its government. The importance of this office is emphasized by the fact that our denomination takes its name from presbuteros, the Greek word for elder.

The Diaconate is the board of deacons of First Presbyterian Church, Nashville, consisting of all deacons in active service. The primary purpose of deacons is to serve those in need. This ministry of compassion may take many forms, but it is most directly implicated in the work of the church’s ministry and mission councils. The Diaconate serves as an advisory body to the Session, and deacons assist the ruling elders in performing many of the functions assigned to the Session.

Connections and Engagement Coordinator
Julia engages visitors and new members and fosters meaningful relationships throughout the congregation. She can answer questions about first visits, membership, and getting connected.
First Friends Ministry Coordinator
Sally oversees the First Friends Ministry where she works diligently to connect our active older adults with one another and with the church family for fellowship, service, and personal growth.
Ministry Assistant for Congregational Care
Charlotte supports congregational care, other caregiving ministries, the columbarium, and New Officer Training.
Hospitality Coordinator
On any given weekday, Jennifer is the first face you see at the Hospitality Center where she welcomes guests, directs phone calls, and serves as the first point of contact for members and guests.
Contemporary Worship Music Director
Raquel serves as a part of the FPC ministry team with a specific focus on creating, establishing, and sustaining excellent worship music for the Church’s contemporary worship services.
Director of Youth Programming
Gage serves as the Director of Youth Programming at FPC. Gage can help answer questions about any part of the ministry to children from 12 years old until high school graduation, including questions (for children or with their grown-ups) about the faith, the church, worship service resources, any ministry-wide or church-wide major event, or the spiritual nature of youth.
Assistant Youth Director
Cameron Timmons serves as an Assistant Youth Director, providing day-to-day leadership and support for the FPC Youth Ministry, working with young adults, youth, parents, staff, and volunteers.
Youth Program Coordinator
Ginger is responsible for handling the day-to-day operations and administrative function of the FPC Youth Ministry, working with young adults, youth, parents, staff, and volunteers.
Assistant Youth Director
Evan Benbow serves as an Assistant Youth Director, providing day-to-day leadership and support for the FPC Youth Ministry, working with young adults, youth, parents, staff, and volunteers.
Director of Ministry with Children & Their Families
Mallory oversees the Children’s & Family ministry and the First Presbyterian Early Preschool. She is also a candidate for ordination in the PC(USA).
Assistant Director of Faith Formation to Children
Shelley Eberle serves as the Assistant Director of Children’s Faith Formation. She develops and oversees curriculum and programming for the ministry and helps oversee the Children’s Ministry staff.
Ministry Assistant for Children & Their Families
Mary Prevost is our Ministry Assistant in hospitality and operations for the Children’s Ministry. You will find her Sunday mornings in the Children’s Wing welcoming our sweet families and their little ones.
Children’s Ministry Program Assistant
Valerie Duncan serves as the Children's Ministry Program Assistant. She prepares resources for Sunday programing, Milestones, and major Children's Ministry events, keeping things running smoothly each week.
Nursery–Kindergarten Coordinator
Suzanne serves as the Nursery-Kindergarten Coordinator where she oversees programming, volunteers, and staff who nurture and care for our youngest disciples, children ages 0-6.
Director of the Early Preschool
Candyee is responsible for the management of the FPC Early Preschool Program, an NAEYC Accredited program. This is a weekday ministry for children ages 18 months to 5 years, serving approximately 90 students and a staff of 24. Jessica is responsible for working alongside the EP Director in managing the EP program and supervises teaching staff.
Director of Children's Choir
Kevin leads children in 2nd – 6th grade in a worship choir that provides a caring community for the participating children while providing high-quality, inviting and engaging choral music education for young children.
Children's Choir Director
Kelly has the primary responsibility to develop a high-quality, spirited and inviting music ministry for young children. She is responsible for the leadership of the children’s music through a graded choir program. Reach out to her with any questions regarding young children or the music ministry.

Raphael is responsible for leadership in the total program of music ministry at First Presbyterian Church. Organist and Assistant Director of Music
Peter provides organ music and accompaniment at the church, and he manages the growth and development of the FPC Music Academy. Through the Music Academy, he instructs organ and piano lessons.

Director of Recreation
Jen Kutzner is FPC's new Director of Recreation. She is tasked with visioning, implementing, executing, and maintaining athletic and recreational ministry programs in a way that points to Jesus. Play is essential to our work here at FPC, and we are excited to play and work with Jen!
Director of Camp Watermelon Ministries
Erika is responsible for Camp Watermelon, a summer day camp program on the church campus that exposes children to the love of the Lord through play, worship, service and fun.
Recreation Coordinator

Equine Program Director
Curt oversees all aspects of the Therapeutic Equine Assistance Method (TEAM-FPC) horseback riding program. He can answer questions about any aspects of the horseback riding program.

Julie helps keep lessons and operations running smoothly at the TEAM-FPC barn. She can answer questions about anything related to the TEAM-FPC riding programs.
Administrative Assistant for Worship Services
Susan Becker has joined the staff as a part-time Administrative Assistant for Worship Services. Susan will be responsible for ensuring the elements of worship are accounted for and executed professionally each week. Worship is at the heart of our church, so this job is critical to ensuring all our services are done with excellence.
Communications Coordinator
Sarah supports the communications of First Presbyterian Church through content creation for print and digital publications, including monthly newsletters, quarterly magazines, weekly email newsletters, and the Church website. She is also responsible for managing the specific communications needs of ministry program areas as we seek to be an outpost of Christ’s kingdom.

Lizy supports the Communications Ministry of First Presbyterian Church by designing print and digital collateral that advances and strengthens the Church’s mission. She is also responsible for managing the specific communications needs of ministry program areas as we seek to be an outpost of Christ’s kingdom.
Chef
Kim supports the programs of First Presbyterian Church of Nashville by coordinating food services to include menu planning, purchasing of food supplies, food preparation and presentation within budgetary guidelines, and maintaining kitchen inventory. She is responsible for ensuring the kitchen and storage areas are consistently maintained and cleaned to meet local health department guidelines. Production Manager
Stephen oversees all the audio, video, and technical components around the church, including live events, worship services, and live-streaming. Reach out to him with any questions about most things audio, video, or technical around the church.
Production Associate
John assists the Production Director in all church AV needs—namely sound and video for services, events, Bible studies, and meetings. Contact him if you need any assistance with recording events or hearing the sermon!
Bookstore Manager
Kathy is responsible for inventory management and volunteer engagement for the bookstore. Contact her with any bookstore questions, requesting particular books to be ordered, or to volunteer in the bookstore.
Interim Director of Finance
The Interim Director of Finance is responsible for oversight of all finance, accounting and reporting activities. The Director will be involved in making presentations to the Treasurer, the Finance Committee and the Generosity/Stewardship Team and will work closely with the senior leadership team of the Church. The Director leads all day-to-day finance operations of the Church and supervises the Finance team with functional responsibility for accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and designated funds.
Staff Accountant

Accounting & Payroll Clerk
Megan is in charge of our accounts payable and payroll. She can answer questions about reimbursement, paying vendors or anything expense related for the church.
Facilities & Maintenance Manager
Tim manages the day-to-day maintenance and repairs of facilities, buildings and grounds utilizing a combination of outside service providers and internal staff.
