Children's Soccer
First Presbyterian Church has a long history of using our beautiful property to encourage playfulness and relational connection to enhance faith development in people of all ages. The act of playing together can teach us many things about ourselves, our neighbors, and our creator. Athletics can be a beautiful vehicle for growth and discipleship. Because of this, we believe children’s soccer is an important part of our mission here at FPC and we are excited about the spring soccer season.
Pickleball
Our church family enjoys playing pickleball together in the Enrichment Center on Wednesday evenings. All ages are welcome, and no experience is necessary for a good time. Beginners and kids have the courts from 5:00 p.m.–6:00 p.m. and more advanced players have the courts from 6:00–8:00 p.m. Bring your own paddle, but if you don't have one, come anyway—we have extras. Come join us!
Water Aerobics
Join us on Friday mornings at 11:00 a.m. for this gentle workout that builds strength and improves cardiovascular health. Classes will run through September 27, but we will not meet on September 6 and 13. Please arrive early to allow yourself time to get dressed and ready. Cost is $5 per person, payable in cash on the date of the class. Equipment will be provided. Max capacity of 10 people. To register, contact Jen Kutzner.
Tai Chi (On hiatus until September)
Our First Friends Ministry hosts a weekly Tai Chi class with instructor, Dave Bilger. This class entails learning a routine sequence of movements that emphasize a straight spine, abdominal breathing, and a natural range of motion. Classes occur on Fridays at 10:00 a.m. in the Gathering Place. For cost, more information, and to register, please contact Sally Ostheimer.
Space rentals are not available on Sundays.
