John is from Freeburg, Illinois—just outside St. Louis. He's a fan of Major League Baseball and music, the latter of which has been his primary focus ever since his graduation from Belmont University with a music degree in 2014. He has been a professional touring musician and ran sound for years at The Bowery Vault in East Nashville.
