Mary Russ

Mary Russ is our trusted Resource Development Administrative Assistant, providing crucial administrative support for our resource development operations. Her responsibilities include managing annual stewardship campaigns, contributions, and planned giving. She is also the point person for correspondence and recordkeeping in our resource development office, ensuring that our operations run smoothly. Mary's role extends to providing support to the Generosity Committee and the Endowment Committee, where her organizational skills are invaluable. Passionate about donor stewardship, Mary is an excellent resource for church members who have questions about pledges and contributions.

Born in south Mississippi, Mary spent some time in south Georgia, then moved to Tennessee and called it home. She loves reading, cooking, summer, hot weather, and going to the Florida panhandle with her husband, adult children, and grandkids. Mary has spent her career in administrative roles, including Executive Assistant at The Gideons International, before joining the staff at First Presbyterian in December 2022.
