In this series, “The Gospel According to…”, we look at some known and lesser-known figures of the Bible: Abraham, Naaman, Ruth, Timothy, and others. Through all these important characters there are certainly lessons to be learned about living in faithfulness to God. But we want to ask the more foundational question: How do these lives prefigure or sharpen our understanding of the Gospel? We want to explore how God’s revelation throughout them Old and New Testaments anticipates and announces the redemption accomplished in the person and work of God’s incarnate Son, Jesus Christ.
