Horacio Guendulain was born in Mexico City, Mexico but spent most of his childhood and adolescent life in the rural town of Tiger, GA. During his time there he began his piano studies under the instruction of the late Iris Daniel Engel Barnes, and eventually under the instruction of William Ransom of Emory University. He later moved to Nashville, TN in 2007 to attend Vanderbilt University and majored in piano performance under the guidance of Craig Nies. Since graduation, he has been the pianist for several churches which include St. Edward Catholic, St. Ignatius Catholic, and is currently the pianist for Monroe Street United Methodist and Jordonia United Methodist for the past 16 years. He also serves as an accompanist for Belmont University and Vanderbilt University. In his free time, Mr.G enjoys the culinary arts, hiking, photography, and running long-distance.
