Keaton Schenck is the Creative Coordinator at First Presbyterian Nashville, where he works the Communications team to bring clarity and creativity to the church’s digital and print communications. Originally from Warsaw, Indiana, Keaton earned his BFA in Graphic Design from Indiana Wesleyan University. He and his wife, Tedra, moved to Nashville when she began law school at Belmont University.
Before stepping into his role at First Presbyterian, Keaton spent time in wood and metal shops designing and building custom furniture. As a foreman, he managed teams and projects, developing a strong eye for detail, an appreciation for process, and a hands-on approach to leadership. That experience, paired with his design training, gave him a practical, problem-solving mindset rooted in design thinking—skills he now brings to the life of the church.
At First Presbyterian, Keaton handles a variety of digital and print materials from worship service bulletins to web graphics to special publications, using design thinking to communicate with clarity and warmth, knowing each project is a chance to build connection, tell a story, and reflect the life of the church in meaningful visual ways.
