Positions Currently Available:


Associate Pastor or Director of Discipleship and Engagement  
With a congregation of over four thousand members, we are seeking an ordained or lay person who has exceptional relational and organizational skills, in order to help create discipleship groups, identify and equip leaders, and administer a growing network of our new initiative, Communities of Belonging. We want First Presbyterian Church to be a place where members and prospective members experience genuine Christian community, are challenged and encouraged to grow, and find support and friendship on the Christian journey. Included is administration of the Wednesday evening program and Adult Sunday School.

Director of Ministry to Young Adult Families  
The director is responsible for overseeing our young adults in their 20’s and 30’s who are engaged, married, and/or have young children. This part-time position reports to the Associate Pastor for Young Adult Ministry and is charged with executing programming, discipleship, and events that directly impact this demographic in our community. Qualifications include at least three years of experience working with young adults or some similar ministry.

Communications Coordinator
The coordinator is responsible for generating newsletter articles, bulletin announcements, targeted emails, and all other communications about the church’s missions and ministries, Oak Hill Day Camp, Oak Hill School, and the Early Preschool. This full-time position will also maintain the current website, guide implementation of new website, and make greater use of appropriate social media. Communications, Advertising, Marketing, or Public Relations degree preferred. Graphic design and photography skills preferred.

Early Preschool Teachers
We are looking for teachers with experience with emergent philosophy and knowledge of NAEYC standards, Handwriting Without Tears, and Creative Curriculum. Interested candidates must meet the following qualifications: minimum BA in Early Childhood Education or Special Education and a minimum of one year experience working with children 18 months – 5 years.
